Head Fundraiser Weekend
This year's Barefoot Children in the Sand Weekend Fundraiser promises to be extra special. As you all know the unexpected death of Jimmy Buffett happened as we were in the midst of plans for our weekend. It seems fitting to incorporate a celebration to his memory during the weekend. We will be doing that on Friday with our own "Tailgate Party" and Buffett concert. This is still in the planning stages so please stay tuned for more details. In his memory the charity chosen by both clubs this year and the one we will be raising money all weekend is one of his designated charities, "SINGING FOR CHANGE". We talked with them and were assured that all monies raised will be earmarked for helping local organizations in this area.
