FUNDRAISER
This year's Barefoot Children in the Sand Weekend Fundraiser will be our 12th year of putting on this one-of-a-kind event and you will not want to miss it.
We are so excited to announce our Friday night entertainment this year. Thom Shepherd and Coley McCabe will be opening Barefoot Children in the Sand this year and we couldn't be more excited. They are both exceptional singers and songwriters with so many great songs to perform for you. They have performed at all the major Trop Rock festivals around the country as well as being fixtures in the country music scene. They will open Barefoot with a bang.
The Saturday Hallway Party returns once again this year and after a one year abscence so do Two Dudes in Flip Flops. We are so ready to have them perform again this year and set the tone of the craziness of the Hallway Party!
Our Saturday night act is BIG! We have tried in the past to get them here to Indiana in the winter and finally our begging and pleading has paid off. The incredible Donny Brewer Trio is our Saturday night entertainment this year. Donny brings his own brand of excitement with an amazing catalog of original songs and covers.
Rounding out our lineup is Greg Jones, who will be entertaining us in the hospitality suite after our nightly main events.
The charities for this year's fundraiser will be Kindness to Prevent Blindness and The League of Miracles Sports Leagues.

DONNY BREWER BAND
Donny Brewer is a Central Texas born and bred multi-instrumentalist with over 30 years experience entertaining crowds in all genres in all parts of the world. Though he has been writing and recording Trop Rock all his life, he was not discovered until 2012 after releasing his first of five beach and escapism themed albums, Live Like Jimmy Buffett.
He’s since won 25 Trop Rock Music Association awards for his music including Entertainer of the Year six times.
He’s now on tour full time living in a Winnebago with his wife Michelle playing everything from solo house concerts to large festival shows combining Trop Rock with all his earlier blues, rock, country and R&B influences.
Donny continues to write and record new material while on the road and now hosts events, trips and festivals, including the annual Karavan and Mexico Meltdown among others. Not to mention the cruises and trips he joins other Trop Rockers on.
Now working on his 6th album, he says this was the one thing he discovered:
“This is who I’ve been all along. Writing and recording island, trop rock, or whatever you wanna call it is natural for me. It’s easy. With other music, I always feelt like I could’ve written it better, or done a better production or sang it better. I was never quite happy with it, ya know. With this music it’s like gravy. I hardly ever do a second vocal take. And it’s like there’s no rules. If I wanna throw in a goofy percussion part or change styles I can do that. It’s my music. It makes me happy. It makes me feel good. And hopefully it’ll do that for other folks too. That would just be the icing on the cake…or the…lime on the margarita, or something!”
With the kids both college graduates, there’s no limit to where Donny will take his Trop Rock, literally and figuratively, but one thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be fun!

TWO DUDES IN FLIP FLOPS
Don't let those innocent faces fool you. They have ruined more Saturday evenings for parrot heads at Barefoot then you can count on two hands and two feet. They are the soundtrack to the hallway party. Remember...Pace Yourself! This is a marathon, not a sprint. Although to quote from one of our members "Sometimes you want to enjoy the ride, and sometimes you just want to get there".
Two Dudes in Flip Flops will get you there; your hair will be messed, you may be missing a couple items of clothing, you may smell a little like Captain Morgan, but they will get you there.

GREG JONES
Greg Jones is not a new face at Barefoot but it is the first year he will be entertaining us as he brings his talents to the hospitality suite after our main events. This will be fun, impromptu, eclectic, and other adjectives that mean "you never know what will happen when you get a bunch of drunk people in a room after midnight".
